The One and Only Stephanie Ma: Senior Spotlight
-Andy Aguirre
“Love the life you live and live the life you love,”
is the way Stephanie Ma likes to goes by each day. Stephanie grew
up in Dublin, attended Frederiksen elementary, Wells Middle School
and now Dublin High School. She has been an over-achiever her
entire life. She is the kind person who sets her priorities straight.
For years Stephanie has loved doing sports. Altogether, she has
done five different sports. She has six years of gymnastics, ten
years of swimming, one year of softball, four years of soccer,
and seven years of cheerleading (the only sport she is doing right
now) under her belt. She also enjoys doing the statistics for
Dublin High girl’s softball team.
A.S.B. President and senior Alex Hennessy says “Stephanie
is very nice, hard working, fun to be around and she always has
a good attitude.”
Now one may ask, how does she have time for all this? Well that’s
something you can ask her. Because not only has she been involved
in many sports she is also an honor student at Dublin. Stephanie
says that she has been on honor roll since the six’s grade.
In addition to being an over achiever she has also been involved
with leadership for three years. And this year she is the A.S.B.
Treasurer. Each year Stephanie has always help out the school
with everything she could. Dublin High is lucky to have a student
who is so involved.
Another big part of Stephanie’s life is her family and friends.
She always makes time for her family and to hang out with her
friends.
A.S.B. Secretary and senior Lauren Banks feels that “Stephanie
is a good friend because she is always there for me and we love
watching the Disney channel together.”
Stephanie is headed for a bright future. She has planed to either
move to southern California or maybe even go out of state to go
to college. She wants to become a physical therapist or an athletic
trainer. And we wish the best of luck with her goals. As you can
see Stephanie is a loving person and is well determined. We’re
glad to have Stephanie Ma at Dublin High.
