Have you met Ms. Carhart yet? If you haven’t, you’re missing out! Ms. Carhart is one of our newer history teachers and she teaches US History and Exploring Your World.

Samantha Bundt speaks for many students, as she comments: “Ms. Carhart is great! She’s so much fun and a great teacher! And she makes US History so much easier to understand! I couldn’t [have] picked a greater teacher.”

Ms. Carhart has been in the Dublin High school district since the beginning of her very own high school career. She graduated in the year 2000 and left for UCSB College, soon after she earned her bachelors degree in law and society as well as social science. It was time to decide a career, and since her goal of becoming a Navy Lawyer wasn’t working out, she decided just last year, that it was time to come back to her home town.

In 2006, she wanted to experience the other side of the school world, so she started working under Ms. Tama, one of Ms. Carhart's favorite teachers. Last year she starting her teaching career, she began teaching with only one class and then later on upgraded to several other classes after Ms. Tama had retired. In a few months she became a permanent member of the Dublin High staff.

Now since you know a little more about Ms. Carhart she gave advice to all students which is; “Take school seriously, because it’ll affect your next phase in life, but remember have fun while you’re here.”
