Bolts Strike Lightning!
-Farish Khan

The Oakland Raiders came crashing back to earth this weekend after facing the San Diego Chargers and losing 28-14. These division rivals hate each other, and over the past few years the Chargers have been winning the battle. One of the main reasons was that the Raiders continued to get penalties. Also, they would keep on losing yards and so they would start off with bad field position. Also, they could not start off their drives with a run because they had to make up for losses in penalties. It was a tough loss for the Raiders.

The San Francisco 49er fans should be happy because they didn’t have a game this week, and so there was no disappointing news for them.

Now we come to probably the most hyped up game of the season. The match-up of 2 undefeated teams, the Dallas Cowboys and the New England Patriots. Also, the hype was supposed to be T.O vs. Randy Moss, the “original 81” (T.O.) vs. the fake 81 (Moss). If you compared them, the winner would be T.O. with a mediocre 66 yards and 1 touchdown. Randy Moss had 59 yards and 1 touchdown as well. But for the Patriots, they continue to play like they invented playing football. The main receivers on the Pats were Donte Stallworth and Wes Welker who had huge games! Stallworth had 136 yards with a touchdown and Welker had 124 yards and 2 touchdowns. Tom Brady threw for a career high 5 touchdowns as well. Everything is going perfect for the Pats.

There I finally good news for the New Orleans Saints and their fans because they finally pulled out a win! Drew Brees finally had a really good game and Reggie Bush finally came back as well. Bush rushed for 97 yards and had 44 yards receiving. The Saints played against the Seahawks and the Saints dominated 28-17.

Finally, the NFL is starting to come back to usual. So far this season there have been some teams that came from nowhere, and the main contenders haven’t been playing up to their standard. But, now it is starting to get back on track except for some teams. Make sure to tune in!
