Survivor: China
-Jamie Patterson

An unexpected twist shakes up the tribes on day thirteen of Survivor; as tribe Fei Long sits down to enjoy their morning breakfast, a local fishing boat arrives along shore to deliver a note. Fei Long must select two members from the other tribe, Zhan Hu, whom they believe will benefit their tribe. They [Fei Long] picked the two strongest players form the other team [Zhan Hu] Frosti and Sherea. Zhan Hu also has to pick 2 players from Fei Long and they picked James and Aaron, also the strongest players from that team.

When two members of the Zhan Hu tribe, Jaime and Erik, share a tender moment together, Erik reveals to Jaime that he likes her. When she reciprocates the feelings, she sees this intimate moment as a sign of a deeper level of trust, and she confides in Erik the secret of the hidden Immunity Idol. They don’t know where their relationship will lead, but they believe it is good to be aligned with each other at this stage in the game.

Meanwhile at the Fei Long tribe, everyone is getting fed up with one of their teammates, Jean-Robert. He doesn’t help around the camp and furthermore he has a loud mouth; in addition to his yelling at everyone and starting trouble. The tribe was talking to each other and at the next tribal council, if their team won, they want to vote him off.

The next day came and it was time for the immunity challenge. This challenge would decide which tribe would go to tribal council and the winning team would win the immunity idol and be safe from tribal council. For the challenge, they had to swim out in the ocean to a platform; Then one person form each team at a time would dive down into the water and grab these long sticks releasing a disk.

After all twelve disks were released, they had to race back to shore and use the disks to solve a puzzle. In the end Zhan Hu won the challenge, the immunity idol and was safe from tribal council. Meaning Fei long had to attend tribal council where someone would be voted off.

Back at the Fei Long one of the new members of the team, James, was very upset that they had lost because he felt that the girls on the team were not trying as hard as they could have. He had said that he wanted to be voted off.

At tribal council, two of the girls from the Fei Long tribe Peih-Gee and Courtney said they threw the challenge on purpose causing them to loose because they did not trust the new members of their team James and Aaron. There was a lot of controversy and James was very upset because he felt like he was a strong player on the team and could be trusted.

Ironically, after the vote, Aaron was sent home when it was expected to be James. Stay tuned every Thursday night at  8 pm on CBS to see what new twists and turns are next to come.
