Trick-or-Treat

Halloween is on its way, and you know what that means… some way to fit school spirit into this upcoming holiday is a must. In the next couple of days DHS will be in full force giving out those scary pride points.

The 4th period classes will be decorating their doors in scary décor so expect to see a frightening surprise when you walk into your 4th period class.

“The door decorating is going to be a lot of fun! Mrs. Angel-Diaz’s class is gonna dominate!” said Senior Jessie Chen.

Next in an upcoming lunch there will be a cat walk to show off your Halloween costumes and gain some pride points. “I’m going to dress up like Catwoman” said Senior Tyler Bliss.

Whether you’re in the contest or not, dressing in a Halloween costume will get you two pride points, while wearing orange and black will get you one point pride point in the class competition.

These next coming weeks are going to be a blast. A very scary treat at Dublin high is in store so be sure to participate October 31st. “Last year I wasn’t able to go to school for the Halloween competition so this year I can’t wait to dress up” said senior Stephen Newell.
