Halloween is Just around the Corner

Halloween is just about to rear its frightening head and Dublin High School students are preparing their broad array of uniquely frightening costumes for Halloween night. 

Some are planning on dressing up as their favorite horror movie characters, such as Scream or Mike Meyers from the Halloween series. Others have a humorous approach in mind for their costume.  There are the ever-popular pirate costumes for guys and the fairy and witch costumes for the girls. We can be sure that the Dublin High campus will look significantly different come Halloween day.

Whether you’re going to a dance, passing out candy, or even trick-or-treating with the youngsters, Halloween will be a treat this year. But it’s about more than the twenty pound bags of candy that you feast on until Thanksgiving. The variety and the creativity in people’s costumes is the really fun part about Halloween. With movies like Saw IV coming out, screaming away Halloween night in the theater or watching a scary film at home with your friends is one of the best ways to celebrate the spookiest holiday of them all.

Best of all, Halloween is probably the absolute best time to pull a scary prank on some of your friends. With a little thought and some imagination, a well-executed prank on your friends can be classic. Just make sure it isn’t so scary you induce a heart attack or lose the friend you’re pulling the prank on.  Nevertheless, with so many possibilities and things to do, there should be no shortage of fun this coming Halloween!
