"BIG T": Male Athelete of the Week
-Chereese Thomas

There are many characteristics of being an athlete, positive attitude, teamwork, passion for your sport, and being competitive. These are all the examples of Tyler Worthley, male athlete of the week.

Tyler Worthley always has a smile on his face around campus and with friends. He's a real friendly person and has personality. But when it comes to playing football he means business. Mr. Worthley is very dedicated no matter what sport he is playing. Football is a big commitment and he is fulltime no matter the circumstances.

Just when you thought basketball and football were enough, not for this athlete. His also plays baseball in the spring. Time management is a big thing for Tyler . Between three sports he has a lot going on.

Football is something that Tyler really enjoys doing. He doesn't just play football because he's good at it but more because he admires the game. He really appreciates the amount of support that he gets from the school, teammates, and family.

"I really like the excitement and also a lot of my friends are involved,"  Tyler  explained.

Almost every athlete has someone that they look up to or their favorite team. For Tyler he looks up to Jeremy Newberry, the center for the 49ers.

"Jeremy Newberry never complains like other professional athletes," recalled Tyler . Tyler is also pleased to say that the San Francisco 49ers is his favorite team.

Bounded between football, basketball, and baseball Tyler  has his plate full. So come support our male athlete of the week, Tyler Worthley!
