A sweet win, on a big night!!

The Dublin High Women’s Volleyball Team had an amazing win on Tuesday night at home. The girls were definitely fired up and ready to play. It was the last home game and it was senior night. All three seniors wanted a last win at home. Fired up and ready to play the girls brought their “A” game.
In the first match
Dublin
brought the heat by taking the lead. As the game continued it started to get close. The lady Gaels broke away with the lead, winning the first match.
Alhambra
finally woke up by the second match and pushed real hard. The second game was a battle, but the Alhambra Bulldogs pulled away with the win. Both teams had to play hard; neither team was going to give up a win that easily. Beating
Dublin
in the second game set the tone for the third match.
The third match. It was battled out but the Gaels pressed out with a win. “Let’s go ladies. It’s my last home game. I wanna win!!” shouted Gabrielle LeCheminant during the match.
“All we have to do is just play hard and we got this,” encouraging words by Alexandra Calderon.
The girls took these motivated words and ran with it. Winning the fourth game, they sent the Alhambra Bulldogs home with a loose.
Tuesday night was an exciting night for the girls. Their team gave a great ceremony for the seniors. There were roses, balloons, cards and much more. The three seniors Gabrielle LeCheminant, Christina Highsmith, and Lauren Cunningham, were both excited and sad that it was their last home game. But overall, all three played their hearts out for the last time. With only one more game left in the season, the team had fun and played hard and can’t wait until next year.
