Female Athlete Of The Week: Jennifer Kaehms

 By Mike Fulwiler

This week’s female athlete is junior, Jenny Kaehms. Some of you might know her simply as everyone’s favorite anatomy teacher, Mrs. Kaehms’s, daughter, but she is also a star on the Dublin High cross-country and track teams.

“Jenny is a terrific athlete,” explains senior Jeremy Grace. “She is always working her hardest, and is a darn good actress too.”

Jenny’s most recent accomplishment was the 12:33 time she got in her two-mile race, placing 1st at DFAL.

Jenny has been an athlete all her life. In 8th grade, she even went to the Junior National Olympics as a javelin thrower. As a lover of all types of sports, Jenny has also played soccer and basketball when she was younger.

Today, Jenny plans to expand her horizons by going out for lacrosse this year. With her natural athleticism and determination to succeed, Jenny is sure to be a great addition to the Lady Gaels lacrosse team.

When asked about her philosophy and how she achieved success, Jenny simply explained that, “With hard work and determination you can accomplish anything!”
