Gael’s season come to an end

After the game, there were tears and hugs going around everywhere. The 2007
Dublin
football team’s season has come to an end after a 55-17 loss to
College Park
. The score does not tell the whole story. The Gaels played their hearts out and left everything they had out on the field. They just could not catch a break. They would gain 232 yards rushing.
Senior Andy Tran would turn it up and run for 112 yards off of 14 carries. Looking like Buffalo Bills and Cal’s ex running back, Marshawn Lynch, Andy Tran would also throw a touchdown pass to QB Pat Thornton at the end of the game.
“Win or lose, I love what we have accomplished by being a family and I really will miss every one on the team and the game,” says Senior Andy Tran. This year’s football team was so close knitted that it seemed like a family.
Coach Moreno can be thanked for this. He should be thanked for a lot of reasons. He is taking the program to new heights. The team has not only improved on the field, but in the classroom as well.
This season was the first step in the right direction. This team is the foundation for seasons to come, and they will be successful. It is always sad to see the end of something good, but the seniors of the class of 08’ are leaving the team in good hands.
