The Patriots had a bye, the Colts lose another game, and the Bay Area is still in decline. The Indianapolis Colts played against the San Diego Chargers and lost 2 straight; last week against the Patriots, and now to the Chargers. Peyton Manning played probably the worst game of his career throwing 6 interceptions, 328 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Colts fell 21-23.

49ers played against the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football and got shut out. The score was 24-0. The 49ers had a chance early in the 3rd quarter to score on the Seahawks 2 yard line, but failed. That was the closest they would get to scoring all night.
The Oakland Raiders played against the Chicago Bears and lost 17-6. Brian Griese got injured on a play, and the Bears had to put Rex Grossman in. It might have been his lucky day because he threw a perfect deep ball to Bernard Berrian, and could have won his starting job back.
Who would have thought that the St. Louis Rams would be able to stop the New Orleans Saints? The Rams defeated the Saints 37-29. Steven Jackson rushed for 76 yards and 1 touchdown and also threw for a touchdown pass.
